About Chalet Jeremie ...
If you are looking to enjoy an authentic Savoyard experience as well as some great skiing or hiking, you'll quickly feel at home in the rustic Chalet Jeremie.
The owners of this three-star property love spending time there and sharing it with OVO Network guests. A recent important renovation (roof, doors, windows, insulation, electric system) has greatly improved the comfort of the chalet, while keeping its unique and authentic feel that has made the joy of so many guests over the years.
Set in the quiet hamlet of Le Plan du Comburce near Manigod (a five-minute drive), with breathtaking views over the valley, you’ll find it hard to believe that this beautiful farmhouse is just an hour from Geneva airport. In Manigod village, you can pick up fresh bread at the popular boulangerie (or have it delivered to your property every morning!) or enjoy a delicious local meal at Val Sulens restaurant. The chalet provides parking space for up to two vehicles.
Previous OVO guests have told us that they love the sense of space at Chalet Jeremie, the rustic mountain decor and the amazing views.
For long weekends, winter sports holidays, summer stays - no matter what the event or reason, Chalet Jeremie is a great place to stay.
Larger groups of up to 19 wishing to stay in this area might wish to consider booking Chalet Jeremie with Chalet La Croix Meridionale, which sleeps 10.
The property ...
This 3 star charming Alpine farmhouse has been refurbished carefully, keeping the structure and the beautiful wood of the original home intact, so that it now benefits from a stunning double-height living room. It’s the perfect place to spend cosy evenings around the fire.
Children and the young at heart will love the upstairs games room, with table tennis and table football as well as a TV room. For their own safety and your peace of mind, the owners have installed a fixed wooden stair gate at the top of these stairs.
Meals can be taken in the dining room, in the large farmhouse kitchen or outside on the spacious covered terrace, which overlooks the beautiful Manigod valley.
There are three bedrooms on the ground floor - two doubles and a twin room - as well as a family bathroom. There's a children's bedroom with two bunks and a single bed on the floor above, which has its own shower room.
A laundry room and ski store on the lower level mean there is plenty of space to store your outdoor gear before relaxing in the sauna after an energetic day in the mountains.
About the area ...
If you love skiing but are longing to get away from the concrete jungles of modern larger ski resorts, you’ll find Chalet Jeremie the perfect solution.
Despite its secluded position in the beautiful Manigod valley, you’re just 10km away from the La Clusaz ski station of La Croix Fry. Parking is free and from here you can ski the whole of the Aravis area, from La Clusaz to Grand Bornand, on one ski pass.
Cross-country skiers will find plenty of trails on the nearby Beauregard plateau, and there’s lots for non-skiers to do too. Choose from sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and sleigh rides, or let your tensions float away in the beautiful heated outdoor/indoor swimming pool complex at La Clusaz, as the snow falls around you.
The summer months are a great time to appreciate the beautiful location of Chalet Jeremie.
Sitting out in the garden, all you can hear are birds singing and cowbells tinkling. There’s really no reason to go any further! But if you are looking for action, you’ll be spoiled for choice in the beautiful Aravis mountains.
There are plenty of walks from the door, or take the ski lift up into the mountains before walking or cycling back down. Adrenalin junkies can try paragliding, canyoning, climbing, or white-water rafting within a few miles of Manigod. Via ferrata is another great family day out, with children as young as eight able to explore the mountains on iron walkways, secured to a harness.
If you can picture yourself, your family and friends enjoying some great mountain sports and the peace of this unique chalet, check your holiday dates against our availability calendar. If you need some time to think about it, we can hold Chalet Jeremie for you for 24 hours. But don't wait too long - this unique chalet will soon be booked up!

The OVO Network Review
“For nature lovers and mountain enthusiasts of all ages, to experience the peace and serenity of high Alpine living from a rustic, traditional Savoyard farmhouse setting.”
Chalet Jérémie is a 4 bedroom 3 bathroom renovated Savoyard farmhouse for 9 (max 6 adults) spread over 3 floors and 190m2 of floor space.
Chalet Jérémie is the perfect base for nature lovers and mountain enthusiasts of all ages, to experience the peace and serenity of high Alpine living from a rustic, traditional Savoyard farmhouse setting.
Very few neighbours, spectacular views, a taste of history, a magnificent open fireplace with wood burner, a sauna, a huge games room with pool table, table tennis, a separate TV room, plenty of room to store skis and other sporting equipment, plus a superb well-informed manager: what's not to like?
The new owners of Chalet Jérémie wanted to retain the charm of the property while making the farmhouse warmer, brighter, and more comfortable, reflecting their personality and meeting the needs of their large family. They are keen to share the property with other discerning families who, like them, love the mountains, respect local history, and want to enjoy 21st century home comforts too.
Chalet Jérémie is at the far end of the Manigod valley in Combource. While that guarantees magnificent vistas, guests will have to drive to the shops, restaurants, the slopes, and the nearest ski bus stop. Like all other properties built in the same period and in the same style, it has characteristic wooden floors and low ceilings.
IMPORTANT: Due to the severe allergies of the owner's family, pet lovers will not be able to bring their pets to stay at Chalet Jérémie.

From the Owner
We fell in love with Jeremie as soon as we saw it.
“We wanted a chalet where the whole family could be together - a chalet with a soul. The first time we visited Chalet Jeremie we were completely captivated - one of the last chalets which has kept its original spirit while being completely modern and practical.
This large chalet is on a quiet road, with a dazzling panoramic view of the mountains. What better start to the day than to wake up to such a scene? After a day skiing or exploring the mountains, it's always a real pleasure to return to the peace and quiet of the chalet. We can really recharge our batteries there and hope that you fall in love with this magical place just as we have."

“A beautiful authentic chalet”
We loved staying in your chalet. You have managed to retain the delightful authenticity, and we had all the ingredients for a wonderful holiday. We loved the impeccable condition of the chalet and its authenticity. We adored all the natural surroundings and the farms with regional produce. It was a feast for the stomach and the eyes! Thanks again.

“Snow and sun were both in attendance!”
An excellent family holiday with snow and sunshine. A big thank you to Corinne for her kindness and professionalism. We loved the typical mountain feel of the chalet (although some guests might find certain aspects a little too rustic) and its setting surrounded by nature.

“A charming and authentic chalet”
The space and the games room, the sauna ... we loved it all. The floors are old and squeak a bit (difficult to move around when the children are asleep) but that is part of its charm! There is great skiing in the area.

“Views to die for !”
Overall, we had a magnificent stay at Chalet Jeremie. The views were to die for. The area was very serene and peaceful. We enjoyed staring at the mountain peaks everyday. We had an opportunity to enjoy a couple of days of rain and we were in awed with the display of beautiful rainbows all around.

“A very successful holiday. ”

“Typical and very spacious”
We have just spent a week exploring and relaxing in this chalet. Despite my concerns at the beginning, the booking process was very smooth, the website was very easy to use with all the information you need. Booking completely online without speaking to a real person worried me, but fortunately I sent an email and someone contacted me to answer all my questions. When we arrived the manager was really welcoming. She took the time to explain everything and answered all our questions. The chalet was very spacious, with plenty of room for everyone. The decor was wonderful, the bed linen was super, the layout was faultless. The chalet was very traditional - typical of Haute Savoie. It can accommodate nine people and what with the sauna, table tennis and the fact that it welcomes pets, we thought it was very good value for money. It was our first visit to the mountains and we came back fully refreshed. Some advice - check the opening hours of the bakery in Manigod, it may be best to get supplies in Thones.

A welcoming cosy chalet (but watch your heads if you are tall), with a great games room. We loved the living room with the woodburner. The location itself is amazing, the peace, the footpaths from the door, not forgetting the patisserie in La Clusaz.
Jean-Claude M. - 09/04/2016
“As authentic as it gets”
Me, my wife and six children had a lovely stay. The chalet is as authentic as is gets being a converted farmhouse, the vast living area and extremely comfortable beds made the holiday relaxing. Many thanks for Corinne for accomodating our arrival and departure.

“We have already booked up again for next year.”
We were a group of 4 adults, 3 children (4, 2 and 9 months) and a dog. We were blessed with the weather. It snowed before we arrived and during the nights, with a bright blue sky every day - perfect conditions. We loved this traditional chalet for its wood panelling, its location and the space it offers. We spent a magical week, going for walks in the forest around the chalet, skiing just 10 minutes away (a very friendly and pleasant ski station) and relaxing around the woodburner. We have already booked up again for next year. A special thank you to Corinne, the manager, for her availability.
Sébastien M. - 05/03/2016

“Amazing surroundings, breathtaking views”
The OVO booking system was very good - being able to place a property on hold and take time to think about it was great. As soon as our booking was made, we were sent all the information we needed for our arrival. The manager, Corinne, gave us a warm welcome. She listened to us and was discreet. The chalet is very comfortable and a typical mountain chalet. It is very well equipped and was everything we expected when we booked. The children and the grown-ups loved it! The setting and the view are magnificent. It is perfectly located for exploring this area. We went back to work and school with lots of good memories.

Picturesque setting, calm, beautiful landscapes... We want to thank you to allow other families to enjoy this old farm, renovated with so much taste. Nothing was missing! To be in the heart of the mountains, with such a diversity of landscapes and so close to the village and local farm gave to all of us many positive emotions and lots of happiness.

“Great location, good views and peaceful environment”
Fantastic, peaceful location enabling you to immerse yourself in the real Manigod - just what we wanted. Great walks from the door and all daily essentials available from the village - try the patisserie from the bakers. We loved its original rustic charm and the amount you could do without going very far in the car.
Sheryl N. - 01/09/2012
Magnifique! The authentic place, time, atmosphere. Thanks for all and "A bientôt"!
Famille M. - 04/01/2012
Set in one of the most beautiful Alpine valleys, the village of Manigod is a mountain secret that is a delight to discover. With its own ski area linking into the famed La Clusaz ski resort, Manigod offers fabulous skiing in winter and world class cycling in the summer.
Beautiful chalets are dotted around the mountains, restaurants range from local auberges to Michelin starred, and you can buy locally made pottery and cheeses fresh from the farm.
