It’s the perfect place to spend cosy evenings around the fire while youngsters play table tennis or table football in the large games room upstairs, where there is also a TV room. Meals can be taken in the dining room, in the large farmhouse kitchen or outside on the spacious covered terrace, which overlooks the beautiful Manigod valley. A laundry room and ski store on the lower level mean there is plenty of space to store your outdoor gear after an energetic day in the mountains.

Chalet Jeremie the perfect solution. Despite its secluded position in the beautiful Manigod valley, you’re just 10km away from the La Clusaz ski station of La Croix Fry. Parking is free and from here you can ski the whole of the Aravis area, from La Clusaz to Grand Bornand, on one ski pass. Cross-country skiers will find plenty of trails on the nearby Beauregard plateau, and there’s lots for non-skiers to do too. Choose from sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and sleigh rides, or let your tensions float away in the beautiful heated outdoor/indoor swimming pool complex at La Clusaz, as the snow falls around you.
A quiet oasis of peace, with plenty of action just minutes from your door
The summer months are a great time to appreciate the beautiful location of Chalet Jeremie. Sitting out in the garden, all you can hear are birds singing and cowbells tinkling. There’s really no reason to go any further! But if you are looking for action, you’ll be spoiled for choice in the beautiful La Clusaz mountains. There are plenty of walks from the door, or take the skilift up into the mountains before walking or cycling back down. Adrenalin junkies can try paragliding, canyoning, climbing, or white-water rafting within a few miles of Manigod. Via ferrata is another great family day out, with children as young as eight able to explore the mountains on iron walkways, secured to a harness.
Explore the charming mountain towns, or relax on a lakeside beach
Chalet Jeremie is just a few minutes’ drive from the friendly village of Manigod, and it’s just a little further to the bustling town of La Clusaz, which has a choice of shops, restaurants and a weekly market as well as a tourist office, which organises a busy programme of events all year round. Larger supermarkets can be found down the valley in Thônes. A day trip to medieval Annecy is a must. Set on the edge of the cleanest lake in Europe, this beautiful town has a good selection of unique shops, restaurants and galleries, as well as a wide range of water sports. The less energetic might prefer to just people-watch from the beach or hire a boat and explore the pretty lakeside villages.
